Patrick Wilson (b. July 3, 1973) is a Virginia born Tony, Golden Globe, and Emmy award nominated actor in film and theater and a singer. He is playing Dan Dreiberg (Nite Owl II) in the Watchmen film.
In an interview, Wilson was asked what is was like to play a superhero;
"The easy answer is that it was great. I wasn't that familiar with the comic but I have a friend who has been my best friend for 20 years, and every Wednesday he has gone out and bought new comics ever since I have known him, when we were 18. I'll use his quote from when I told him I was thinking of doing Watchmen: 'If you are ever to do a comic book movie, this is the one to do.' So I feel like that's sort of the answer: if you're ever going to do it, this is the one.[1]"
