Part of the promotional merchandising for the upcoming film, Watchmen, the grappling gun and mask prop set contains authentic replicas of Rorschach's mask and grappling gun that are used in the film.
Along with other action figures and replicas, the grappling gun and mask prop set will be published by DC Direct and is scheduled to be released on February 19, 2009, before the release of the film. The original price was slated at $295.00, though price varies by source.
Quality
The detailed prop set measures approximately 10 1/2 inches tall, 13 1/4 inches wide, and 8 inches long, while being uniquely packaged in a four-color box.
With great detail, the prop set will be created from the actual digital files and patterns that were used to craft the replicas used in the movie. The grappling gun will be permanently attached to a display base, though shockingly the mask will be removable.
